Southern Red Velvet Cake Gluten Free

Accounting for 10 to 12 Cupcakes

3 ½ tsp cocoa powder
½ grams of red food coloring
½ cup butter (1 stick)
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 ¼ cups cake flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup Buttermilk
¼ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vinegar

Add the butter and sugar and mix until light and creamy (speed 5). Combine and mix of red eggs and sugar, mixed (speed 3). Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture alternately with butter (always beginning and ending with dry ingredients). Combine baking soda and vinegar, add the mixture. When combined, add vanilla (or alternative aromatic).
